I am a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) and have been with the Rio School District since 2017. My career in education began in 2007. I have served as a classroom teacher, district administrator of ASES and SES, and K-6 site administrator. I have led student-showcase presentations at GoldCoastCUE, presented at annual CUE, CUE Rockstar Teacher - Google, EdCampVC and EdCampRio planning committees, team member CA Teachers Summit - CSUCI, and co-moderator #csk8 twitter chat.

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors or what influenced you to run for a position?

Having recently served as Director-at-Large with GoldCoastCUE 2014-2017, I am eager to have an opportunity to resume this exclusive ed-tech leadership opportunity in our county. I have transitioned to now serving in the Rio School District, and I am eager to connect educators in Rio with innovative leaders and professional learning provided by GoldCoastCUE, CUE affiliates, and annual CUE.

What do you believe are the most important goals and initiatives for Gold Coast CUE and what do you feel you can contribute in meeting these goals and initiatives?

The most important goals and initiatives for Gold Coast CUE are to bring innovative professional learning opportunities, educational technology professional development, and networking opportunities to the educators we serve in Ventura County. I can positively contribute in meeting these goals by connecting with leaders in education and build a stronger network of professionals to spread the great work of CUE and our local affiliate.
