Welcome to the Channel Islands: Digital Storytelling in Nature and Science

6th Grade, Richard Bard School, Hueneme School District

Jon Mortensen, 6th grade Science teacher, and 3 students from Richard Bard School, Hueneme School District, participated in the 2011 Student Technology Showcase at the CUE Conference in Palm Springs. The students presented personalized digital stories created as part of the Bay Watershed, Education and Training program (BWET), which provides students with the opportunity to explore the unique environment in and around the Channel Islands. Student stories focused conversation and restoration and highlighting the magnificent kelp forest.
